Privacy Policy

Policy statement: Confidentiality. 

From 25th May 2018, practitioners must refer to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This replaces the Data Protection Act 1998. To comply with GDPR we must understand and adhere to the 6 principles of GDPR. 

1. All data held by us will be processed fairly, lawfully and in a transparent manner 

2. Data about children and their families is collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and not further processed in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes. 

3. Data is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary, in relation to the purpose for which they processed. 

4. Data is accurate and, where necessary, kept up-to-date. 

5. All data is kept in a form that permits identification of the data subjects for no longer than is necessary. 

6. All data is processed in a manner that ensures appropriate security of the personal data including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage.
